The RISD Archives collect, preserve and provide access to records and artifacts covering the history and development of the RISD School and Museum since RISD's founding in 1877, as well as the contributions of individuals involved with RISD. Collections include administrative files for College and Museum departments; records of past Museum exhibitions; information on RISD buildings; historic photographs; records of faculty, past students and alumni; and RISD publications.
