Antoine Revoy

Antoine Revoy was born in Paris, France and grew up in Tokyo, Mexico City, and Barcelona. After earning a BFA in Film/Animation/Video from RISD in 1999, he embarked on a design career, working as a visual and interaction designer in Dublin and Paris, while simultaneously freelancing as an illustrator.

Upon returning to the US in 2009, Revoy dedicated himself to working as an illustrator full-time. Within the first two years of this commitment, his illustration work won recognition from the industry's preeminent juries and publications, notably the Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, 3x3 Magazine, Graphis and Spectrum. Revoy currently resides on the East Coast of the United States.

Academic research/areas of interest

Revoy is interested in Drawing, Illustration Concepts, Sequential Art, Character Design and Creation, Typography, Greek and Egyptian Mythology, Mayan Astronomy, 19th Century Russian Literature, Manga and Science Fiction.
