Ben Pell

Ben Pell is a founding partner at PellOverton Architects, an award-winning design and research practice based in New York and Providence. He received his Master of Architecture degree from UCLA and his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Syracuse University and has previously taught on the design faculty of the Syracuse University School of Architecture and the Pratt Institute and as a regular member of the Yale School of Architecture faculty from 2005—14. The work of PellOverton Architects has been nationally recognized through publications and awards, including the Young Architects Award from the Architectural League of New York. Pell’s writing on architecture has been featured in various publications, and he is author of The Articulate Surface: Ornament and Technology in Contemporary Architecture (Birkhauser, 2010).
