Academic research/areas of interest

Carol Lasch sees furniture as the intermediary between architectural and human scale. It offers the opportunity to resolve structural and aesthetic details in the connections between materials as well as the interaction between the body and the furniture. Her work focuses on seating, tables, shelving, desks and lighting.
