Carter Skemp’s professional work history includes working in several different architectural offices as an industrial designer, as a hands-on residential design-builder and as a digital fabrication technician. Before coming to RISD, he held teaching positions at the University of Maine at Augusta and Roger Williams University. He currently runs a small design-build practice based in Rockport, ME that focuses on the intersection of design, value and sustainability.
