Jeff Geisinger is a practicing architect and recent graduate of the Building Technology Program at MIT. As a member of MIT’s Sustainable Design Lab, he researched the early integration of energy simulation and daylight modeling for the design of new buildings, retrofits and urban scale projects. His interest in the intersection of environmental performance and affordable housing design led to his primary research into a low-energy, passive solar design framework for public housing redevelopment in New York.

Prior to establishing his own practice in Cambridge, MA, Geisinger worked on a wide range of institutional and cultural projects for Ennead Architects in New York and the studio of Guillermo Vazquez Consuegra in Seville, Spain. He has been an invited critic at Columbia University, Pratt Institute, Northeastern University, RISD and the Boston Architectural College. He is a registered architect in New York and Massachusetts and holds a MArch degree from MIT and a BArch from Rice University.
