Jim Pelto

Jim Pelto earned a BFA in sculpture from the University of the Arts and studied industrial design at RISD. He worked as a senior designer for Hasbro and also owned an engineering/manufacturing firm for 20-plus years, where he developed prototypes and production components for global companies including Honda, Uvex, New Balance and Mattel. Pelto later worked as a project/product manager, defining product design criteria for high-performance integrated molding systems used by Bausch & Lomb and Georgia-Pacific. He currently teaches at RISD and in the Sustainable Product Design and Innovation department at Keene State College.
