Julie Zammarchi’s animated films combine the surreal with the lyrical to create a modern take on the traditional cartoon. Her award-winning independent films have been screened at film festivals and theaters worldwide. She partners with clients, producers and fellow filmmakers to create for various platforms such as print, the web, television, theater and museum installations. Clients include StoryCorps, Sperry Top-sider, The Smithsonian Institute, The McCormick Freedom Museum in Chicago, Sesame Workshop, HBO and Nickelodeon, among others. Zammarchi has instructed students at RISD, Harvard University, Massachusetts College of Art, Emerson College, Montserrat College of Art and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston.
