Ken Horii
Ken Takashi Horii teaches spatial dynamics in the Division of Foundation Studies at RISD. His sculpture, paintings and works on paper are in private and corporate collections nationally and internationally and have been exhibited in New York, Chicago, Boston and in galleries and museums across New England. He holds a BFA from The Cooper Union School of Art and an MFA from The University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to joining the faculty at RISD in 1993, he was an assistant professor in the Foundation and Sculpture Departments at Syracuse University. He is a recipient of RISD’s John R. Frazier Award for Excellence in Teaching.
