Kenneth Berger

Kenneth Berger is a PhD candidate in the Department of Modern Culture and Media at Brown University. His dissertation, Reinventions of Life: The Cinematic Avant-Gardes in the Age of Spectacle and Biopower, reevaluates the history and legacies of the 20th-century avant-gardes. He received an MFA in Interdisciplinary Studio Art from UCLA’s Department of Art and has previously taught art history and theory at the University of Southern California, UC Irvine and Otis College of Art and Design.
