Larry Bush

Larry Bush earned a BFA from the University of Washington and an MFA from Alfred University College of Ceramics. He began teaching at RISD in 1984 and served as head of the Ceramics department for many years. His work is included in numerous public and private collections, such as the Detroit Institute of Art, the RISD Museum and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.

Bush is a member of the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts and has been awarded many grants and fellowships from RISD, the New England Foundation for the Arts, the NEA and other institutions.
