Leslie Lee is an urban designer and landscape architect with 15 years of experience in master planning, urban design and landscape architecture projects in urban environments across the globe. In both her academic teaching and professional work, she stresses the designer’s need to operate at multiple levels by looking at sites through various lenses to frame urban design issues and challenges. She informs her work with a solid understanding of urban form, infrastructure and landscape systems and strives to foster strategic, visionary and practical solutions to a variety of challenging and complex problems.

Lee is currently a senior urban designer focusing on campus master plans at Eastley + Partners LLC. She was formerly a senior associate at Sasaki Associates Inc., practicing in the urban design and master planning discipline. A sample of her projects includes the Gonghuacheng Technology Business District, Lulu Island, Arzanah Master Plan, National University of Singapore, Chicago Southworks and Mina Zayed Waterfront Pier. She has also worked in the offices of Martha Schwartz Partners, SWA Group and Urban Strategies Inc.

Before joining the faculty at RISD, Lee taught at Harvard University and Boston Architectural College. She earned an MLA in Urban Design from Harvard Graduate School of Design and a BLA from University of Toronto.
