Mallica Kumbera Landrus specializes in the history of art and architecture of India, particularly with regard to the intersection of art, architecture, religion, politics, economics, geographics and social life. Her research and teaching interests expand to the artistic and cultural exchanges between Asia and Europe, with a focus on the reception of cross-cultural ideas as well as the production of transcultural objects through this process of exchange.
