Matthew Katz
Matthew Katz is a working ceramic artist with a BFA from Alfred University and an MFA from the University of Colorado-Boulder. He has worked as a ceramic engineer and researcher for more than 20 years and uses his knowledge of art and engineering to make ceramic science understandable for people of all experience levels. Before joining the faculty at RISD, Katz taught at Alfred University for more than 15 years. He is also an experienced online educator who makes material studies accessible to everyone.
