Maya Krinsky
Maya Krinsky is an artist based in Providence. She teaches studio and seminar courses on language, translation and contemporary photography. Her background as a language instructor informs her interdisciplinary practice, which is comprised of drawing, video, photography and performance projects as well as curating and consulting work that often explores how the elemental structures in learning a new language either reflect or are at odds with lived experience. Krinsky is a graduate of the Whitney Independent Study Program, RISD and Bard College.
