Odette England

Odette England has exhibited in the US, UK, Europe, Asia and Australia in such venues as the George Eastman House International Museum of Photography and Film (Rochester, NY); the Museum of Contemporary Photography (Chicago, IL); the New Mexico Museum of Art (Santa Fe, NM); and the Fort Wayne Museum of Art (Fort Wayne, IN). She is a two-time UK winner of the Magenta Foundation Flash Forward Emerging Photographers competition and in 2012 won the prestigious CENTER $5,000 Project Launch Award. In 2015 England was shortlisted for the Australian Photo Book of the Year Award for her independent monograph Lover of Home.

England was awarded her PhD in Fine Art from The Australian National University in 2018. She graduated with honors from RISD in 2012 and also holds an MA in Communication Culture & Language and a BA in Painting and Drawing from the University of South Australia. She is represented in the US (East Coast) by Klompching Gallery.

England is also the director and curator of the Winter Garden Photograph Project.
