With a thematic focus in each issue, RISD’s art and design magazine is designed to keep readers inspired and informed about the people, projects and passions that make our creative community so extraordinary. RISD XYZ works to address a range of issues of interest to creatively engaged readers and encourages alumni to contribute to making each issue visually rich and engaging. Published twice a year—in January and June—the magazine is available for free at selected campus locations.
Fall/Winter 2018/19: partnerships + collaboration
This issue focuses on the value of creative collaboration, looking at what happens when alumni expand their own potential by partnering with others to make new work. From a feature story on a few of the phenomenal startups founded by RISD friends to the collaborative spirit behind fine art practices, this issue is packed with stories of powerful partnerships and other satisfying projects built on trust.
